Full - Time Position
We are looking for volunteers looking to gain on the job work experience. If are you interested in giving back and are looking for something meaningful and satisfying? We welcome you to volunteer with us. As a volunteer you can support us in a variety of areas, suited to your skills and interests to ensure the most valuable experience for both you and our consumers. When you volunteer, some areas you can be involved with include:
Casual Position
As a volunteer, you are valued by our organisation. Our volunteers also report feeling a sense of achievement and reward which comes from helping others and making a difference to South Australians in need. You will be provided with support and training for the role that you undertake. Volunteering provides the opportunity to develop new skills which may assist with employment options.
Some volunteers have found paid employment as a direct result of the experience they have gained from their volunteering roles with Cloud Care Services. As a volunteer, you are also able to apply for any paid positions that become available within Cloud Care Services. While working in a volunteer role for Cloud Care Services you are covered by insurance in the event of injury.
Volunteers are required to sign and abide by the Cloud Care Services Code of Conduct as well as a confidentiality agreement. As a volunteer, you may claim for any authorised out-of-pocket expenses – such as kilometre reimbursement – which are incurred by you.
This does not include travel to and from the site that you are volunteering from.
Cloud Care Services can provide flexible, interesting and challenging learning opportunities for students through a structured student placement program. Placements are available in the fields of social work, community development, disability support, research, aged care, child care, occupational therapy, and more.
If you are successful at gaining a student placement, you will need to complete and sign a Student Placement Agreement and take it with you to your placement interview along with your current South Australian Police Clearance or Working With Children Check (WWCC) Clearance.
